We are currently recruiting throughout the Wayne, Livingston and the Ingham county area for the following positions:

Implement ABA treatment programs in a variety of settings (e.g., home, school, community) as directed by the Supervising BCBA.

Implementing BIPs (Behavior Intervention Plans) specific to clients as set forth by a BCBA.

Collect all required data throughout the client’s session utilizing data collection software and communicate with the Supervising BCBA if there are issues that require their attention.

Review and implement consultation/supervision note recommendations.

Mentor new BTs and RBTs by assisting in the onboarding and training as directed by the Clinical Director.

Communicate appropriately and effectively with colleagues and families as needed.

Follow all policies and procedures, including but not limited to, confidentiality and mandated reporting standards as set by the Advance ABA Care team.

Obtaining/Maintaining Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification within 90 days of hire.

 

Develop, plan and implement program goals, objectives, personnel, resources and equipment.

Provide direction and oversight to staff members.

Responsible for a caseload & therapist corresponding to caseload.

Ensure that services are focused on the patients presenting treatment needs and request for service.

Maintain caseload of billable hours in addition to supervisory duties

Provide staff management including, on-boarding, hiring, training, and performance management.

Discuss client caseload with designated case managers if applicable

We are looking for a skilled, sympathetic Speech Pathologist to provide quality care for our clients. The speech pathologist will perform screenings, assess patient condition, and design therapy and treatment plans to help the patient develop necessary speech skills. You should be caring and knowledgeable about speech-related conditions and therapies.

To succeed as a speech pathologist, you should be willing to alter treatment plans to better suit the individual needs of a diverse patient population. You should be caring, adaptable, analytical, and resourceful.

Speech Language Pathologist Responsibilities:

Diagnosing, treating, and preventing speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Creating treatment and therapy plans to suit the individualized needs of a diverse population of patients.

Performing screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.

Educating patients and family members about speech disorders and causes, including disabilities and traumatic events.

Keeping detailed records relating to patient conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress.

Reporting progress and current status to appropriate parties, which may include family members, teachers, or medical professionals.

Provide aural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Provide augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for individuals with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders, such as autism spectrum disorder or progressive neurological disorders.

Work with people who don’t have speech, language, or swallowing disorders, but want to learn how to communicate more effectively (e.g., work on accent modification or other forms of communication enhancement).
